Exploring the intersecting worlds of transfusion and transplantation medicine, the 2016 Canadian Blood Services’ annual international symposium will review current topics in cord blood banking, cellular expansion, stem cell transplantation and more. This symposium is for Canadian physicians, technologists, nurses and researchers involved in transfusion and transplantation medicine, so save the date now to ensure you don’t miss this engaging, topical and informative one-day program.

Cancellation fee: $60 cancellation fee applies if canceled before Aug. 27. No refunds provided for registration made on Aug. 27 or after.

About the Canadian Blood Services annual international symposium series

The Canadian Blood Services annual international symposium series is a knowledge mobilization initiative targeted at the transfusion medicine, cellular therapy and/or transplantation communities in Canada. The purpose of the symposium is:

  • To educate professionals in one (or more) of these fields by providing research AND clinical perspectives around one major topic of relevance,
  • To showcase the research activities of Canadian Blood Services in these areas,
  • To nurture national and international networking.
