This program is an Accredited Self-Assessment Program (Section 3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada, and the Identification & Referral module is approved by Dalhousie University for up to 2 credit hours, while the NDD module is approved by Dalhousie University for up to 4.5 credit hours. For College of Family Physician members, the Maintenance of Certification Program of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, accredited Section 3 activities are eligible for Mainpro+ certified credits, up to a maximum of 50 credits per five-year cycle; any additional credits are eligible as non-certified credits.
Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
