Objectives

1. Learn the pathophysiological mechanisms of platelet destruction in ITP
2. Review the mechanisms of action of syk inhibitors may improve platelet count in some patients with ITP.
3. Review review recent efforts at replacing IVIg with recombinant reagents including work from the investigators lab.
