1.   Discuss the influence of donor age and gender on properties of red blood cells.
2.   Share prior data on red cell donor age and gender and recipient outcomes.
3.   Present study on the association between age and gender of red cells and outcomes in very low birth weight neonates.

The series, organized by Canadian Blood Services is also open to all practitioners in the field of Transfusion Medicine. Through a series of regular webinars, trainees and practitioners are exposed to various scientific, technical and clinical aspects of transfusion medicine.
