3)  Highlight the FDA guideline for the industry: Recommendation for Reducing the Risk of Transfusion-Transmitted Babesiosis

The presentation will cover babesiosis and its relevance to blood transfusion and blood safety.  This one-hour webinar is intended for beginner, intermediate, and advanced level technologists, supervisors, transfusion medicine specialists, and blood bank medical directors. Registration for this course is free and one hour of P.A.C.E. ® and Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel CE credit is offered to participants.
