Part of the CBR Seminar series, this talk will aim to provide an overview of application of Big Data analytics in furthering transfusion medicine research and outcomes and identify various needs and gaps. The lecture will identify various possible available and accessible resources for big data applications. Limitations and scope of big data research will be discussed. Finally, the speaker will lay out a model for the future, aiming for some precision transfusion medicine applications from big data.
