Objectives:

1.  To discuss terminology, best practices in culturally competent care provision for Trans individuals, and current research.
2.  To highlight past and present activities at Canadian Blood Services to encourage diversity and inclusion and support provision of culturally competent care to Trans donors.
3.  To discuss research findings from our study of the effect of blood donation on donors taking testosterone.
4.  To highlight the current guidelines for managing erythrocytosis in patients taking testerone.
