Event details

This lecture is part of the CBR seminar series.

The Foster Lab as typically applied proteomics to understand host-pathogen interactions. In this presentation we will discuss some of those, including our efforts to identify universal antigens that have the potential to trigger immunity in all genetic backgrounds. We will also discuss two new efforts in our group, including the development and capabilities of the new LSI Metabolomics facility. We will end with a foreshadowing of where some of our future work will be: a systems perspective on how gender-affirming hormone therapy affects recipients.

Presented by

Alessia Palumbo and Dr. Armando Alcazar from the lab of Dr. Leonard Foster, Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Centre for Blood Research.
