ISBT webinar: Placebo and nocebo effects in transfusion medicine

This International Society of Blood Transfusion webinar is for doctors, scientists, blood bankers, and nurses dealing with patients requiring transfusions, or with an interest in transfusion medicine. The aim is to initiate discussion on placebo and nocebo effects with the transfusion of blood components and products. These are possible, but little discussed. 

It is recommended that attendees familiarize themselves with this recent publication prior to the event: Badami KG, Chai K. Placebo and nocebo effects in transfusion medicine. Transfusion  Medicine 2022;32:115–119.
