About the Canadian Transplant Games

Since 2000, the Canadian Transplant Games (CTG) has been a showcase where organ transplant recipients from across the country come together to enjoy competition and camaraderie while celebrating a second chance at life. Held every two years, the CTG is a family oriented event. In addition to the competition for recipients there are activities and education opportunities designed for family members and other supporters.

The Transplant Games provide an opportunity for organ transplant recipients to celebrate health while having fun. The transplant athletes, ranging from age 4 to 80+, will choose from sports such as Track and Field, Swimming, Golf, Tennis, Table Tennis, Pickleball, Badminton, Bowling, Cycling and Lawn Bowling.
